Graham M. Bennett, B.A. (Hons)., LL.B., C.S.
Graham is a trial lawyer with over 27 years of courtroom experience.
For the first dozen years of his practice, Graham's law practice, for the most part, was acting for large insurance companies. Now he acts mostly for individuals who have been seriously injured.
Graham has a broad range of civil, criminal, and quasi-criminal trial experience, and now restricts his practice primarily to civil litigation. He has acted for clients who have had cases in all levels of the Ontario Courts, and in the Supreme Court of Canada. Called to the Ontario Bar in 1993, Graham was a partner at one of Kitchener's larger law firms for many years before launching his own practice in Kitchener's downtown Heritage District.
Graham's litigation and insurance experience include automobile, property and casualty, municipal liability, professional liability, medical malpractice, fire loss, occupiers' and employers' liability, and commercial litigation. Graham has represented companies and individuals in complex litigation matters. He often represents clients at civil mediations. Graham's current practice is focussed on serious personal injury, fatalities, and medical malpractice cases.
Graham is a member of the Advocates Society, the American Association for Justice, the Waterloo and Ontario Bar Associations. He is a current member and former board director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and a past member of Canadian Defence Lawyers.
Graham is a trained mediator and taught Canadian Legal Procedure at the Political Science Department at the University of Waterloo for many years as a sessional lecturer.
Over the years, Graham has travelled much of the world by motorcycle and has a special interest in securing compensation for injured motorcyclists.
