Our Response to Covid-19

We continue to monitor the developments in the Covid-19 pandemic.  Our priority remains the same: the safety of clients and staff, always.  Our Waterloo Region office is located on a quiet street in downtown Kitchener close to the Courthouse, typically with limited traffic in and out of our small building.  Clients and other visitors are referred to our Covid-19 screening questionnaire.  We are making every effort to carry on business as usual, to the extent possible in the circumstances while taking appropriate steps to ensure the safety of clients, staff, and service providers.

Our satellite office may be small in size, but we use the latest technology to be able to serve clients effectively whether we are in the office, working remotely, or appearing in court.

Client meetings are normally on an appointment-only basis, conducted with caution and respect for personal distancing.  We are also happy to meet by telephone or to conduct face-to-face remote meetings by Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, Office365, WhatsApp, WebEx and other videoconferencing wherever possible.

We are also closely monitoring the Ontario Court system.  We continue to make every effort to move matters along out of court so that when court operations resume fully, they are closer to settlement or trial.

As the world moves closer to a proven vaccine, the Covid-19 situation continues to evolve, and we will continue to closely monitor government and health authorities' recommendations and mandates to ensure safe and timely legal services. In the meantime, maintain your social distancing, be careful, and be kind to one another.
